If you need a day away from the privacy and activities of Lake Agnes, you can wander 25 miles west to Steamboat Springs or 25 miles south to Kremmling.

Lake Agnes is surrounded by the Arapaho National Forest. When you travel towards Steamboat Springs you will enter the Routt National Forest. There are plenty of attractions within these beautiful forests.
